And it ends...
Friday was my last day at the office. I'm "on call" for the next week, but that's it. After eight years of hard work and sacrifice, I didn't even get a farewell lunch. That's about par.
Over the years, I have made some great friends at WayForward Technologies, and, for a time, my fellow employees became my family. For a time.
In retrospect, I have gained much in my years working for WayForward. I have learned, I have grown, I have aged. I have been bitterly disappointed.
I am not one to burn my bridges, and now does not seem like the time to begin. There are some bridges, however, that I am deeply reluctant to recross.
